Three people facing charges after downtown weapons incident in Regina

Regina Police have arrested three people in connection to a weapons investigation over the weekend.

Police were called to the 2100 block of 11th Avenue early Saturday morning in the city’s downtown for a report of a man holding what appeared to be a handgun.

Upon arrival, police made four arrests, and found a realistic BB gun as well as several knives, stolen property and unknown narcotics.

This led to charges for three suspects. 26-year-old Christina Huntinghawk faces two charges, including possession of a weapon, 31-year-old Jacob King faces four charges, including two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, and 33-year-old Catlin Pelletier faces three charges, including two counts of possession of a scheduled substance.

All three have been released, with their first day of court set for the end of July.
