Severe weather could hit parts of Saskatchewan on Saturday

While a heat warning is still in effect for many parts of Saskatchewan including Regina, Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning Saturday afternoon for the Kindersley and Rosetown areas with severe thunderstorm watches also in effect as of 2:30 for other areas including Saskatoon, Prince Albert and the Battlefords.

The weather office says conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
