Another promising day for Saskatchewan when it comes to the COVID-19 situation.
On Tuesday, the province announced 86 new infections. That is the lowest one-day total since February 24 when there were 56 cases. It is the first time that the increase has been double digit since March 17 when there were 88 cases announced.
The new cases are located in the following zones: Far North West, 1; Far North East, 1; North West, 4; North Central, 13; North East, 2; Saskatoon, 26; Central East, 4; Regina, 11; South West, 7; South Central, 13; and South East, 1.
There is also one death as someone in their 70’s in the east-central zone has passed away from complications to the virus. This brings the provincial death total to 540.
There are 108 people in hospital with 23 in intensive care.
The seven-day daily average of new cases is 134.
