RCMP say a 24-year-old Martensville man has been charged in regards to a situation in February that involved a seriously injured one-year-old child.

Police say investigations have determined the child was hurt at a residence on February 12th before being taken to hospital for treatment.

The 24-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault and will appear in court July 12th.

RCMP say the man’s name will not be released, as it could also reveal the identity of the child that was harmed.
