Regina Police have updated the public on Monday morning’s collision between a semi truck and a pedestrian in the city’s east end.

The accident occurred at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Prince of Wales Drive before 11:00 AM.

The woman who was hit by a semi was taken to hospital, and there is no word on her condition.

The roadway was closed for a brief time but it has since reopened.

More information is expected later Monday afternoon.
