Regina Police have located a bike worth $3,500 that was stolen from a garage more than a year ago.

Just before 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, a man was spotted riding a bike that matched a police description.

As a result 39-year-old Bruce Mecas was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000, police say during his detainment officers also located a quantity of meth, and also charged Mecas with possession of a scheduled substance.

Mecas was released with conditions and will appear in court this October.
