Residential building permit applications now accepted through Regina eBuild tool

The city of Regina has announced a new service that allows residents to submit residential building permit applications online.

eBuild, which was launched on Monday, allows customers to track the status of their application. Seven types of residential permit applications will be accepted including deck and sunroom, alteration and renovation, basement development, addition, foundation repair, single-family dwelling, and garage and carport applications.

“eBuild is another example of the City’s commitment to provide more consistent, convenient and effective ways of delivering service to customers,” reads a statement by the city. “Improving the building permit process is one way we are responding to customer needs and attracting continued investment in our City.”

Future enhancements are planned to expand eBuild including options to pay application fees online and accepting commercial, planning and development permits.

Permit applications will continue to be accepted through email at [email protected] or in person at the main floor of city hall.
