Regina men charged after Moose Jaw Police find weapons and drugs during traffic stop

Police in Moose Jaw say two Regina men are facing charges, after weapons and a large quantity of meth, cocaine and fentanyl were found inside a vehicle.

Police conducted a traffic stop on Saturday.

When officers pulled the vehicle over they immediately noticed weapons inside, the driver and passenger were then detained and a search of the vehicle was conducted.

Officers located 205 grams of meth, 13 grams of cocaine and seven grams of fentanyl, police say the street value of the drugs is about $20,000.

As a result Andrew Loos of Regina, was charged with possession of meth, cocaine, fentanyl and weapons dangerous to the public.

Jeffery Cross, also from Regina, was charged with breach of an undertaking, he also had warrants for his arrest in the Queen City.

Both of the accused were released, and will attend court at a later date.

Moose Jaw Police say they’re continuing to investigate.
