SaskPower crews made significant progress in restoring power to those affected by Thursday’s ice storm.

As of 7:30 Sunday night, they estimate roughly 20 customers were without power in Melville last night due to a combination of damage being too severe to fix safely, and crews having difficulty reaching customers to obtain consent to issue a temporary repair.

Crews were able to restore service to the entire Pasqua district, rural Yorkton, and the Canora area Sunday afternoon.
