If you’re looking for a unique and safe way to pass some time this long weekend, the Regina Warehouse Improvement District is still offering walking audio tours of historic and interesting buildings.

Leasa Gibbons with RWID says the tours began back in 2018.

“It was a fantastic idea from some of our board members who didn’t really want to lose the history of the buildings, and the stories that we had all been sharing, but how do we pass that along so that it stays long past all of us,” said Gibbons. “Really that was the genesis for this.”

The tour is about one hour long and includes seven stops on the 14 block journey.

There is also an app that can be downloaded to guide you through the tour.
