Regina Police looking for suspects in Tuesday auto theft

Regina Police are asking for help in locating two suspects wanted in a stolen auto investigation.

On Tuesday afternoon, just before 1:00 pm, police responded to a report of an auto theft in progress. Early information suggests that a running, locked, vehicle parked on the 1200 block of 2nd Avenue North when the owner returned to the vehicle and opened the door, two people pushed the owner out of the way.

The suspects then got into the car and drove away. The victim sustained minor injuries.

The first suspect is described as an Indigenous female, early 20s, slim build, with straight, shoulder, length hair. She is said to have been wearing a brown tube top dress.

The second suspect is described as an Indigenous man in hos mid to late 30s, slim build, about 6 feet tall with short hair. He is said to have been wearing a light blue tank top and dark coloured shorts.
