Severe thunderstorm warnings issued for southern Saskatchewan

Severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued for the first time of 2021.

Rural municipalities in the Moose Jaw area, as well as in the Assiniboia and Regina areas are impacted by the warnings.

The City of Regina remains under a watch at this time, as does the City of Moose Jaw, and the Weyburn-Estevan area. The Battlefords, Humboldt and Lloydminster are also under watches.

As for the rest of the province, an air quality advisory has been issued for the Prince Albert area, as a wildfire continues burning northeast of Prince Albert.

Winter storm, snowfall,  and freezing rain warnings are also being issued for far northern regions, such as Fond-du-Lac, Cree Lake, Collins Bay, La Loche, and Southend.
