RPS investigating gunshots fired at northwest home

Police in Regina are asking for information from the public regarding a firearm incident that happened early Saturday morning in the city’s northwest.

Officers were sent to the 100 block of Rink Avenue after receiving a report of a gun discharge in the area. The report stated that a resident heard a “loud bang” between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. Holes were found on one of the home’s windows.

No injuries resulted from the incident, however police who attended the scene confirmed the presence of the holes are consistent with bullet entry.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Regina Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
