Busy few hours for Regina Fire department

Regina’s fire department was kept busy dealing with three house fires late Friday and early Saturday.

The department says they were called to a basement fire on the 1300 block of Princess Street in north-central around 11.

Around 4 a.m, they were called to a house fire in the city’s west end on Edgewater Bay. Upon arrival, the house was fully ablaze.  All inside reportedly got out safe without injury.

About an hour later, crews were called to put out a blaze in a vacant home on the 700 block of Garnet Street.
