Hospitality Sask. excited for the reopening of dining rooms at Regina and area restaurants

Restaurants in Regina and area are going to be able to open one week from today, which is welcome news for Hospitality Saskatchewan.

President and CEO Jim Bence says it really shows how well the business community in Saskatchewan is dealing with COVID-19.

“I think that from a tourism perspective, it’s really well received, for the restaurants in particular,” said Bence. “Because it gives us a starting off point, and it at least gives us the opportunity to make some plans as we go forward.”

Tables will still need to be three metres apart from the back of each set of chairs, unless there is a barrier between tables, and only four people can sit at one table. Once step one of the Roadmap to Re-Opening plan begins, that will be extended to six people at a table across the province.
