The NDP is pushing the Saskatchewan government to expand the list of workers receiving priority for early vaccination against the coronavirus.
Opposition education critic Carla Beck wants all early childhood and daycare workers on the vaccine priority list.
She says these essential workers should be on the list immediately.
Education minister Dustin Duncan says the province has the best roll-out in the country for vaccine distribution, and anyone over 37 is now eligible.
He adds the age limit will drop significantly with the arrival of more vaccines in coming weeks.
Duncan is urging all eligible workers to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
He adds some child care workers are already eligible.
