NACI recommends Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccine use on adults over 30

Provincial governments are being advised to offer the Johnson and Johnson vaccine to adults over the age of 30 by the National Advisory Committee on Immunization.

The single-dose Johnson and Johnson shot has seen blood clot concerns similar to the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The federal government approved the Johnson and Johnson vaccine almost two months ago but it has not yet been utilized.

So far, there have been 17 cases of blood clots reported in the US after more than eight million doses were administered.
