Cocaine bust made in Regina’s Greens neighborhood on Thursday

Regina Police have arrested and charged a 31-year-old man after completing an investigation and enforcement action on Thursday, in relation to drug trafficking in the city.

Officers say two CDSA search warrants were executed, one in the Greens neighborhood in southeast Regina, and one on a vehicle.

As a result 31-year-old Hassan Ali Ismail was arrested an charged with, Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine – S.5(2) CDSA and Proceeds Over $5000 – S.355(a) CC.

Police seized 100 grams of cocaine, cutting agent, $62,000.00 in Canadian currency, cell phones, a digital scale, as well as packaging and other items to support drug trafficking.

Ismail was released with a number of conditions and a future court date.
