A 29-year-old man has been charged after two bear spray incidents in Regina Friday night

Regina Police say a 29-year-old man has been charged with assault with a weapon, after a woman and a man were bear sprayed Friday evening.

Officers were first called to the intersection of Elphinstone Street and Saskatchewan Drive around 6:30 p.m., where they learned the female victim was sprayed by a person passing by on a bike while sitting in her vehicle with the window open.

Police say an argument occurred before the incident, the woman sprayed did not required any medical assistance.

Shortly after police learned of another incident, this time at the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Lewvan Drive.

A man was sitting in his vehicle when the suspect passed by on a bike sprayed his windshield with bear spray.

The victim then got out of his vehicle and was sprayed in the face by the suspect.

The victim held the suspect down until police arrived, and the accused was then arrested without further incident.

The man sprayed was treated at the scene by EMS.

Twenty-nine year old Daylon Pratt has been charged with two counts of Assault with a Weapon.

Pratt will be in court July 27.
