Some outdoor boarded ice rinks in Regina will be switched to off-leash dog parks for the next few months. The city will be making the transition starting May 1 with the seasonal off-leash parks running until September 30.

Seven outdoor rinks will be part of the switch including:

• M. J. Coldwell Park, 115 Fairview Road
• Glencairn Park, 2626 Dewdney Avenue East
• Leslie Park, 3820 Victoria Avenue
• Mike Badham Park, 2606 Grant Road
• Rosemont School Park, 5310 4th Avenue
• Westhill, 8045 Kestral Drive
• Rochdale Park, 1127 N Arnason Street

Off-leash park users are reminded to follow all public health orders and maintain physical distancing when outside to limit the spread of COVID-19.
