Regina Public and Catholic Schools heading back to the classroom May 3

The Regina Public and Catholic School Divisions are both going to resume in-class learning next Monday.

This comes after consultations with the Regina Medical Health Officers that shows a reduction in new infections in elementary and high school-aged students.

High school students in Regina Public have been doing remote learning since March 24 and elementary students have been doing remote learning since March 29. The spring break was from April 2 to 9.  The same thing occurred with students in the Catholic system.

Regina Public Schools will also be taking advantage of Rapid Testing Kits that have been made available by the Government of Saskatchewan to add an extra layer of precaution and protection to in-class learning. Details will be forthcoming soon.
