Sask. Health Authority changes COVID vaccine eligibility to 44 and older

The Saskatchewan Health Authority will allow residents 44 and older to receive their COVID vaccine at walk-in and drive-thru clinics across the province on Thursday.

The only difference being in the Northern Saskatchewan Administration district, where residents 40 and older are able to receive the vaccine. Residents deemed extremely clinically vulnerable will also be able to receive the vaccine.

When it comes to vaccine distribution, the provincial government says any of the three vaccines can be distributed at clinics across Saskatchewan. The SHA stresses that all three vaccines are safe and approved for use.

There’s also a new drive-thru clinic opening in North Battleford on Thursday.
