City opens three Regina golf courses

Three city-owned golf courses are now open for the season in Regina.

Tor Hill, Goulet and Murray courses are now open to the public. It’s expected that the Lakeview Par 3 will open on April 23, weather permitting.

“Our mostly mild spring weather has allowed the City to open golf courses about two weeks earlier than usual,” stated city officials in a release on Wednesday.

“In collaboration with Western Golf Management, an independent firm that manages the courses, the City is ensuring that appropriate safety measures and cleaning protocols are in place as outlined by the Government of Saskatchewan.”

The city says Saskatchewan Health Authority guidelines will be strictly enforced at their golf courses.

Bookings for tee times can be made up to five days in advance beginning at 7:00 p.m.
