Regina fire crews spent part of their Tuesday night battling a house fire.

They were called to a home on the 2700 block of Victoria Avenue in the Cathedral area around 7:15.

Upon arrival, flames and smoke could be seen coming out of the home.

A person was rescued on the second floor and taken to hospital.  The condition of that person is not known, but officials say it is not life-threatening.

It is too early to determine the cause.
