Regina Police arrest three after downtown robbery

Regina Police arrested two women and a man after a robbery Saturday at a business on the 1700 block of McIntyre Street, near the Saskatchewan Drive and Albert Street intersection.

Police say the suspects entered the business and attempted to steal merchandise.

When they were confronted by store employees an altercation occurred, and one of the employees was cut on the hand by a knife one of the suspects had.

The suspects fled on foot with some stolen product from the store.

One of the suspects left his backpack on scene and a machete was located inside.

Police say all three suspects were located and arrested on the 1800 block of Victoria Avenue.

Police did not release the names or ages of those involved.
