A news release from the province says a Regina company has been fined a total of $182,000 after a worker was hurt in a December 2018 incident.
The company, Shawcor Ltd. pleaded guilty in court to violating one count under occupational health and safety.
The release says an employee was seriously injured after becoming entrapped in machinery.
The company was fined for failing to provide an effective safeguard where a worker may contact a dangerous moving part of a machine, resulting in a serious injury to a worker.
