A death on the 1500 block of Cameron Street in Regina Wednesday night has been deemed a homicide.

Regina Police responded to the scene just south of Dewdney Avenue at about 8:30 PM where there was a report of an altercation and an injured man.

Police located the victim — 18-year-old Damione Dustyhorn — who was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS. Two other men are dealing with injuries, with one of them still in hospital with injuries described as “significant.”

Police have at least three suspects in custody who will be facing charges. The investigation remains ongoing.

This is Regina’s fifth homicide of the year.
