Regina’s yard waste depot and landfill will be open seven days a week beginning April 12.

The city says both facilities will go from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., including on statutory holidays. Staff will close entry gates 15 minutes prior to closing to allow vehicles to unload and exit by closing time.

Residents are encouraged to pay with debit or credit cards when using the landfill to limit COVID-19 transmission.

The self-service yard waste depot allows citizens to drop off organic materials not suitable for the landfill like grass clippings, leaves, garden waste and non-elm branches.

Users are asked to keep a safe physical distance while dropping waste off at both facilities.
