Sask Ministry of Agriculture hosts 4 farm mental health webinars in April

The Saskatchewan ministry of Agriculture is holding four weekly webinars this month to discuss mental health on the farm.

The webinars are designed to provide a brief overview of mental health, techniques to identify warning signs and strategies to make positive changes for themselves and others.

The presentation is from the Agricultural Health and Safety Network and Bridges Health, noting farmers are facing tremendous pressures in 2021.

The webinars will be held April 7th from 11 am to noon,
April 14th 7 pm to 8 pm,
April 21st 2 pm to 3 pm
April 28th 1 pm to 2 pm.

Farmers can register on the Saskatchewan agriculture website or contact the Agriculture Knowledge Centre in Moose Jaw at 1-866-457-2377.

The farm stress line is operated round the clock, 7 days a week and can be contacted at 1-800-66-4442.
