Regina Police issue public health order fine after protest gathering of 60 people observed

Regina Police say a woman has received a $2,800 fine for violating current public health orders around COVID-19 during a protest this past weekend.

On Saturday afternoon around 1:00 p.m. police monitored the protest event where they witnessed violations of the current public health order.

Police say the event was peaceful and no arrests were made, they did not say what orders were disobeyed.

In a news release RPS. said around 60 people were in attendance.
