Regina Catholic Schools extending remote learning after Easter break

A decision has been made by Regina Catholic Schools to extend online learning after the Easter break to April 23.

The announcement was made in a letter to school families and on their website.

RCSD says the plan is to resume in-person learning at all schools on Monday, April 26.

Thursday is the last day of classes before the spring break begins for kids in the Catholic and Public school system.  They have been both been having classes online since March 29.

There has been no word from the Public School division at this time, but it is expected they will follow suit.

The announcement from RCSD comes hours after the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation announced they would like the government to have the entire province go to Level 4 which is online learning until April 23.
