SaskPower restores power to spring snow storm victims

SaskPower is reporting that anyone who lost power after Monday’s snow storm should have their service restored.

50,226 customers lost power over the course of the storm, and the outage centre also received over 16,583 calls.

Some areas may experience planned outages in order to make full repairs in the storm’s aftermath. A link to a list of those planned outages can be found here.

With the extreme winds, the Crown Corporation says there’s a chance of downed power lines or damaged infrastructure. If anyone encounters any damaged equipment, they are to stand 10 metres away and report it to the outage centre.
