One man has died after a vehicle rollover near Spiritwood early Sunday morning.

Just after midnight, RCMP members were called to the Witchekan Lake First Nation, about 18 kilometres northwest of Spiritwood to respond to a single vehicle collision.

There was only one person in the vehicle; a 29-year-old man from the Witchekan Lake First Nation who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the deceased has not been released. His family has been notified. RCMP are still investigating.

Spiritwood is roughly four-and-a-half hours northwest of Regina.
