Saskatchewan Health Authority warns of increased COVID-19 cases in Whitewood area

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is warning the public of increased exposure to COVID-19 in the Whitewood area.

A recent spike in cases has forced the Whitewood Community Health Centre to move to Level Three family presence. Level Three requires family members to limit visits to end-of-life care for one essential family member or support person. This provision has to be approved by the care team and include outbreak situations.

Residents in the area are reminded to follow public health measures and personal safety precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, such as physical distancing and masking when two metres of physical distancing is not possible.
