New COVID-19 cases traced back to four Regina schools

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has traced positive COVID-19 cases back to four Regina schools; three in the public system and one in the Catholic system.

The Regina Public School Division is reporting one case each from Douglas Park School, Glen Elm Community School and F.W. Johnson High School. In both cases, close contacts have already been notified, and if any others are determined they will be contacted by the SHA.

Meanwhile, the Regina Catholic School Division is indicating a person from Riffel High School has also tested positive for COVID-19. All close contacts have been identified, and RCSD reminds families to complete the COVID-19 Daily Self-Assessment Checklist before attending in-person classes.

All students in both school divisions began remote learning Monday, and will return to in-person classes on April 12, after the spring break.
