Pedestrian struck in hit-and-run in Indian Head

Indian Head RCMP are investigating a late afternoon hit-and-run Saturday afternoon.

Around 5:00 p.m, RCMP say a person was walking down a street when a car sped up and started approaching him and a boy on a bicycle.  The person pulled the boy out of the way so he would not get hit, but was hit himself by the car that did not stop.

The person hit suffered some minor injuries.

RCMP are now looking for the man driving what was said to be a small red car with no passengers inside.

Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP.

Indian Head is 70 kilometers east of Regina on Highway 1.
