Regina Police say a 27-year-old man was arrested after being spotted in a stolen vehicle by a plain clothes officer.

On Wednesday afternoon around 12:30 p.m. the suspect was seen in the vehicle on the 500 block of Osler Street.

Police arrested 27-year-old Terrance Desnomie and found a machete inside the vehicle.

Desnomie was charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, carrying a concealed weapon and failing to comply with with conditions around a release order.

The accused made his first court appearance Thursday.
