A man not wearing a mask inside a Moose Jaw grocery store caused some commotion on Friday morning.

Police in the city say a 59-year-old man entered the store just before noon without having a mask on.  When he was asked to leave because he did not have one on, he refused which resulted in a call to police being made.

When police arrived, an altercation broke out resulting in the man being restrained and arrested.

Besides getting a ticket for violating the Public Health Order, he is also charged with assaulting a police officer, obstruction and causing a disturbance.
