COVID-19 mass vaccination clinic at University of Regina opens March 29

The University of Regina and the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be teaming up to bring a mass vaccination clinic to the university campus.

The clinic will be located on the main campus in Gym 2 on the east side of the Centre for Kinesiology, Health and Sport.

In a news release posted on the University’s website, U of R Infectious Disease Microbiologist Dr. Andrew Cameron says it’s imperative that members of the public receive the vaccine, adding pandemic specialists are estimating that ore than 80 percent of the population needs to receive it in order to develop herd immunity.

The U of R says the clinic will be operating with strict health and safety protocols.
