The drive-thru COVID-19 testing site in Regina is expanding its operating hours.
The site, located on the Evraz Place grounds, will be open from 11:30 AM until 9:00 PM every day.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority says this will allow to meet the demand for testing, as it has steadily increased since the variants of concern have become more prevalent in the Regina area.
Eventually, the SHA says the site will be open for 12 and 16 hours a day, once staffing and resources allow.
The average wait time to get a test done in Regina varies between no wait at all to three or more hours.
