Regina didn’t, but several other communities break daily high record

Several weather records are expected to be broken on Friday as temperatures hit the mid-to-high teens in some areas of the province.

14 places broke records Thursday including Assiniboia, Elbow, Outlook, Swift Current and Wynyard.

Regina’s high Thursday was 13 degrees which was well back of the record of 17.8 degrees set in 1910.

The forecast high for Friday is 15 with the record high again being back in 1910 at 17.8 degrees.

At noon, Maple Creek was Canada’s hot spot at 15.3 degrees Celsius
