WEATHER ALERT: Extreme Cold warnings in effect for parts of northern and central Sask.

Extreme Cold Warnings are in effect Tuesday morning for parts of northern and central Saskatchewan, including Prince Albert, Humboldt, Melfort, Yorkton and Melville.

Environment Canada says affected areas can expect wind chills of -40C  Tuesday morning before things moderate later in the day.

Regina and Moose Jaw are expected to see temperatures slowly moderate during the week, with plus side temperatures in the forecast for the coming weekend.
