Moose Jaw Police say 15 ounces of cocaine and a large amount of Canadian currency was seized on Saturday at a residence in the city’s South Hill area.

Police say the cocaine had a street value of about $42,000, adding more than $83,000 in Canadian currency was seized.

As a result 38-year-old Mitch Schoffer was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and proceeds of crime over $5,000.

Police say the suspect has been remanded for court.

The investigation remains ongoing.
