It was an expensive morning for one Regina driver.

Regina Police say they issued two school zone tickets to the same driver, less than an hour apart.

According to a tweet from Constable Jim Monaghan, a driver was given two tickets in a span of 51 minutes for exceeding 60 km/h in a school zone.

The driver was first handed a $506 ticket for going 62 km/h in a school zone on the 100 block of Broad Street. Then he was slapped with a $350 ticket for driving 60 km/h in a school zone on the 5600 block of Rochdale Boulevard.
