WEATHER ALERT: Extreme Cold Warnings dropped for most areas, remain in effect across eastern and parts of central Sask.

Extreme Cold Warnings have ended for Regina and Moose Jaw, but do remain in effect Wednesday morning for eastern and parts of central Saskatchewan, including Yorkton, Melville and Prince Albert.

Wind chills again remain sub minus 40 Wednesday morning in many areas, however Environment Canada says moderation can be expected later in the morning and Wednesday afternoon.

Regina is still expecting wind chill values around minus 35 Wednesday, but a return to seasonal temperatures is expected to close out the work week.
