Police investigating armed robbery in south Regina

The Regina Police Service is hoping the public can help identify a suspect involved in an early morning armed robbery on Monday.

Police were dispatched just before 5:00 a.m. to a business on the 3200 block of Montague Street where a robbery was in progress.

Officers learned that a man entered the business carrying a shotgun and demanded money from workers behind the till. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and police were unable to locate him.

The suspect has been described as an Indigenous man of about 35 years old. He was wearing a black hoodie, blue jacket and blue jeans during the robbery.
