The City of Regina says residents have until Sunday to recycle their real Christmas tree through the Treecycle program.

Trees can be dropped off at the Yard Waste Depot next to the landfill between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m..

All decorations need to be removed from the tree, as well as any disposal bag before you leave your tree at the site.

The City says trees will then be taken to a local composter and turned into a nutrient rich compost.
