Regina residential roads to be plowed beginning Tuesday

Residents will start seeing snowplows clearing Regina’s residential roads of snow and ice buildup over the next couple weeks.

Contractor crews will begin plowing on Tuesday for the next 12 days, weather permitting. Plowing will happen between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. every day until the project is complete.

The city has created a schedule for citizens to see which day their neighbourhood will have snow and ice removed by crews. In order to help make the project more effective and efficient, people are asked to not park on the street between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on their scheduled snow plow day.

Snow ridges will be left on the curb and around vehicles left parked on the street. The city says crews will not come back to plow if vehicles have not been removed.

The schedule can be viewed here on the city’s website.

More to come.
