Riders “Chase the Ace” enters final week

The Saskatchewan Roughriders Foundation’s Chase the Ace is entering its final week.

After 32 weeks of draws, no grand prize winner has been chosen, and Cindy Fuchs with the Foundation says tickets will be gone soon.

“We will sell out next week, absolutely confirmed,” said Fuchs. “When I said we were really close, we are close, we will sell out next week. As soon as they’re sold out, they’re sold out, there’s no more left. The draw for the grand prize will happen next Friday.”

While the pot has continued to grow week after week, Fuchs says they never expected to sell out.

With the sellout, the grand prize jackpot is expected to be over $600,000, with tickets being chosen until the ace of spades is pulled.

“First person that we pull gets the weekly (jackpot), whatever that weekly is,” said Fuchs. “If they don’t get the ace, we’ll just keep drawing people’s names, now they won’t win a weekly prize, but they’ll have a chance to win around $600,000, until it’s actually pulled.”

Tickets go back on sale as of 5:00 pm Friday, and there’s no guarantee as to when tickets will sell out, so Fuchs says to go online and secure your tickets as soon as you can.

Tickets are available at www.riderville.com, where you can buy 1 ticket for $10, 10 tickets for $20, or 50 tickets for $50.
