Man facing weapons charges after investigation by Regina Police

A Regina man is facing several firearms-related charges after a recent investigation by Regina Police.

As the result of investigation, police learned of a possible instance of a restricted weapon. Further investigation led to officers obtaining a search warrant for a residence on the 700 block of Montague Street, in the city’s North Central.

The following search resulted in the discovery of a 22. Calibre rifle, a magazine and ammunition.

20-year-old Braden James Moneybird has been charged with failure to comply with conditions, breach of probation, 2 counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition, possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition, and careless use of a firearm.
